A free, independent directory of funeral directors in Singapore, built from government records, with plain-English guides for the days after a death. It's clear about what has been checked, and what hasn't.
Why we built it
Most families look for a funeral director once or twice in a lifetime, often late at night and with little time to compare. It's hard to tell which firms are established, which run their own licensed premises, and which serve your religion or tradition.
Funeral packages also vary widely in what they include. Two quotes that look similar can differ in the casket, embalming, wake setup, transport and fees, so knowing what to ask makes a real difference.
This site brings together 173 funeral directors in one searchable directory, alongside practical guides: the first steps after a death, crematoria, cemeteries and columbaria, customs for different religions and traditions, and settling the estate afterwards. No sign-in and no fees.
Where our data comes from
- ACRA company records. We start from every live business registered for funeral activities (checked 30 Sep 2026). Registration shows the company exists; it doesn't show that it's trading, its service quality or whether it answers at night.
- NEA's list of licensed funeral parlours (as at August 2026). 27 operators on it hold a licence for premises with embalming facilities, and NEA lists which have wake halls.
- Each firm's own website for its phone number, address, religions served and, where it says so, wake halls and a 24-hour line. Each listing links to the page the information came from.
- Google Maps for each firm's rating and review count, and its phone number where the firm's own website doesn't list one. These are refreshed weekly, and each listing links to the firm's Google Maps page for reviews, opening hours and directions.
Businesses with no sign of trading, and anything that turned out not to be a funeral provider, are left out. Each listing shows what we've checked, where it came from and when.
What we don't publish
Many smaller funeral directors are registered at a home address. We only show an address when it comes from NEA's licence list, the firm's own website or a registered shop unit; otherwise we show just the area. A firm's Google Maps page, which we link to, shows whatever the firm has chosen to publish there. We don't publish the names of individual staff or embalmers.
A note on prices
We don't show package prices yet. Government fees, such as NEA's cremation and niche fees, appear in our guides. Firms set their own package prices, so always ask for an itemised quote and confirm what's included before you agree.
How we stay independent
Listings are free, and no funeral director can pay to be listed or ranked higher. For estate matters after a funeral, such as probate and letters of administration, we point families to our legal partner, JCP Law LLC, which is always labelled as a partner. JCP Law does not pay for this placement, and we receive no referral fees.
